LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Pollok man who accepted a probation sentence for shooting at a pickup in August 2010 is back in jail less than a month after the sentencing.
According to Dustin Fore at the Angelina County Probation Department, Jarod Clenon Thompson, 31, violated his probation. Fore said he could not reveal what violations Thompson committed, but that he was taken into custody on Thursday.
Thompson will now appear before a district judge, where it will be determined if he will have his probation revoked or be given additional terms.
Thompson was arrested following a shooting in the Pollok area. Thompson was driving Tyson Wells on FM 706 when they began shooting at a man in a pickup.
He accepted a 10-year probation sentence in November.
