Dustin Ellerman celebrates "Top Shot" victory in Zavalla

ZAVALLA, TX (KTRE) -

It's been a little more than a month since he won, but an East Texas city is still celebrating their "Top Shot" champion.

Zavalla residents came out Saturday to eat, celebrate, and congratulate "Dustin Ellermann", for his win in The History Channel's Show, "Top Shot". And plenty of people wanted Dustin's autograph. All proceeds benefit Ellerman's Christian children's camp,"Camp His Way".

"It's been a little bit over a month, and it's neat that people are still excited. But, I totally didn't expect any of this. I was just, you know, once it's over, it'll fade out. But, there's still a little excitement there, so it's neat," said Dustin Ellerman.

Ellerman is also celebrating at home, as he welcomed his daughter, Arrow, into the world Friday. He says he and his wife are already in love with their 8-pound bundle of joy.
