NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A Nacogdoches man faces a felony charge after SFA Police say he vandalized a picnic table in October.

According to Det. Amanda Kennedy, John P. Todd, 18, scratched words on the table at Lumberjack Landing, located at 508 E. College St. Because the vandalism occurred at an institution of higher learning, his charge is enhanced to a state-jail felony.

Kennedy said a witness saw Todd do the vandalism and reported it to police. A warrant for Todd's arrest was obtained on December 2 and police arrested him on Monday.
