NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - An investigation into meth activity in the Cushing area resulted in the arrests of two men Thursday night.
Sheriff Thomas Kerss said after conducting a separate search warrant Wednesday night, which netted three arrests, investigators were able to link information from there to previous information and gather enough evidence to search two residences Thursday night.
Kerss said separate searches in the Cushing area resulted in the arrests of Steven Michael Kelley, 26, of Cushing, and Ricky Eugene Sowell Jr., 27, of Nacogdoches.
Kerss said deputies recovered pre-packaged meth at the residences, as well as property that has been reported as stolen.
Kelley is charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance, a first-degree felony, and Sowell is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, state-jail and third-degree felonies.
