CHIRENO, TX (KTRE) - With less than two weeks to go before Christmas, Good Ole Jolly Saint Nick is making his rounds in East Texas.
The man in the red and white suit paid a visit to Chireno Elementary Wednesday to see for himself what the students have on their mind. Santa shared breakfast with the little ones and they shared their Christmas wish list.
"It's a great time of year for our kiddos and the excitement around the holidays and to have that special attention from Santa Claus here in Chireno ISD, we appreciate him so much in his busy time of year to be able to come out and visit us, said Roger Dees, Chireno ISD Superintendent.
The Breakfast with Santa event has been going on at Chireno for six years now.
