LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A federal judge has delayed a case for a man accused of dealing cocaine in Nacogdoches County.

The trial for Maxie Antione Deckard, 31, is now set for January 23.

The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office arrested Deckard on September 16, 2010, following a raid on a Woden Road home. Deputies reported recovering approximately 50 grams of crack cocaine and $2,600 in cash.

Count Two of the indictment references a September 16 incident. The other offenses allegedly occurred on March 9, 2011, and Aug. 26, 2010.

Deckard's lawyer has until January 9 to file any new motions for continuance.
