NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police arrested a man Monday afternoon accused of driving intoxicated with a child passenger.
According to the report, officers conducted a traffic stop with Jose Mendoza, 42, of Nacogdoches, at 2:39 p.m.
The officer reported that Mendoza was "very intoxicated" and driving with a 14-year-old girl. He was arrested on a state jail felony charge of DWI with a child passenger.
As of 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, Mendoza remained in the Nacogdoches County Jail, where his bond had not yet been set.
The child was released to the custody of relatives.
