LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin woman pleaded guilty Friday morning to selling cocaine out of her home and accepted a four-year prison sentence.
Vlenice Van Arline, 47, also accepted concurrent two-year sentences on two other charges in District Judge Barry Bryan's courtroom.
Lufkin Police arrested Arline in March following an undercover investigation.
When she was arrested, police found crack cocaine and marijuana in her home.
She was also arrested in January following a traffic stop. According to a previous report, narcotics investigators saw Arline driving on Keltys Drive, near the Abney Avenue intersection and knew her to be without a valid license. Patrol officers were called to the scene and stopped her.
Officers smelled burning marijuana and arrested her, according to the report. During the arrest, Arline admitted to having crack cocaine in her bra, the report stated. A female officer was called to the scene to remove it.
