Texans lead Saturday NFL playoff lineup

HOUSTON (AP) - The National Football League playoffs get started in Houston this afternoon, where the Texans host the Cincinnati Bengals.  It's the Texans' first postseason appearance.

The Texans' wildcard game is sold out.

METRO is offering free light rail rides for the game starting at 5:30 a.m. until midnight.

Fans are urged to arrive early and allow extra time for increased security.

Gates open at 2 p.m.  Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.

The two teams will both be led by rookie quarterbacks: T.J. Yates for Houston and Andy Dalton for Cincinnati.

They met during the regular season with the Texans winning, 20-19. Houston won the AFC

South this season with a record of 10-6 while the Bengals were 9-7 in the AFC North.

Tonight, the New Orleans Saints host the Detroit Lions in the Superdome.
