La. man gets 5 years for coke on bus in Nacogdoches

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A Louisiana man pleaded guilty Thursday to carrying cocaine on a bus, accepting a five-year prison sentence.

Nacogdoches Police caught Ronald Dewayne Green, of Monroe, La., with more than three pounds of cocaine in his luggage.

He pleaded guilty in Judge Campbell Cox's courtroom to a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Green and Rodrick Roy Gibson, also of Monroe, were arrested after acting nervously during a regular police check at on the Kerville Bus in Nacogdoches in October, according to the arrest report.
