Nacogdoches motorcyclist caught without license plate, with meth, police say

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Nacogdoches Police arrested a man Monday night after they say he was caught driving a motorcycle without a license plate, while he was in possession of meth.

According to the police report, officers stopped Travis Austin Bailey, 26, of Nacogdoches, at 7:11 p.m. in the 2600 block of East Main Street, after they caught him racing and without a license plate.

Officers found that he had a suspended license and in possession of meth, enough for a second-degree felony charge.

He was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and driving with an invalid license.

A Nacogdoches County jury found Bailey not guilty in November of a sexual assault charge. He has two previous drug charges pending.
