LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin man accepted a probation deal Friday morning after pleading guilty to driving drunk in Lufkin with four children.
Anthony Rashaud Bruton, 21, elected to serve three years of probation instead of one year in state jail.
Police arrested Bruton in May after he was caught driving drunk on South First Street with four children under the age of 15 in his car.
An officer spotted a car driving erratically northbound on South First Street, then observed the car swerve, even hitting a flower pot. When Bruton stopped for police, he rolled into a ditch.
