Cleanup Effort Begins

Cleanup of the accident is well underway. One engine that derailed has already been put back on the track. While, a second engine and about 50 railcars sit idle on the railroad.

"Just plastic, non-toxic, same things they make plastic chairs, plastic cups. They pumped out of the car into a hole in the ground lined with plastic, and then we put it in the rail car, put in the trailer, and take it either to a recycle or something like that," said a crew member with Trans-Matic, Inc.

About 100 pounds of the B.B.-like pellets dumped into the river, but the spill isn't considered hazardous. Once all the containers on the bridge are empty, they will be removed one at a time. Engineers will then inspect the tressel that collapsed and make repairs.
