NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches Police have arrested a couple, aged 73 and 66, on a cocaine charge following a traffic stop Monday night.
According to the report, officers conducted a traffic stop for an "equipment violation" on the 400 block of West Main Street at 9:52 p.m.
Officers found cocaine in the vehicle and arrested Doris Sherman Gayle, 66, and Kenneth Noel Gayle, 73, both of Nacogdoches.
Kenneth Gayle waited until 2003 for his first criminal conviction, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, in Kaufman County.
No criminal record is available for Doris Gayle.
Both are charged with a state-jail felony of possession of a controlled substance.
