LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin Police respond to a call of a man allegedly high on PCP in the roadway with a knife.

Thursday night, officers arrived at the 1600 block of Keltys Street, to find Bryan Albro intoxicated and partially disrobed in the roadway.

A police report stated, Albro was cursing officers and would not cooperate, when they tried to arrest him.

Officers had to use two Taser devices in an attempt to control Albro.

The report also stated the devices were not effective in subduing Albro; officers were then forced to tackle him.

Albro was taken into custody; he was arrested and charged with public intoxication and resisting arrest.

He will be booked into the Angelina County Jail.
