Lufkin Police arrest 4 Houstonians in connection to wall-cutting burglaries

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin Police have arrested four Houston residents accused of burglarizing buildings by causing holes through walls.

According to the media report, officers located a Dodge Caravan, which matched the description of the suspect vehicle, at Executive Inn on Harmony Hill Drive, at 11:47 a.m. Sunday. The officers learned the vehicle had been used by people renting several rooms at the motel, and they kept a watch until the suspects left.

Officers stopped the vehicle in a nearby parking lot and arrested Shameika Goffney, 20, Vinniea Goffney-Thomas, 23, Frederick Thomas, 34, and Jamar Hutchinson, 33, after an investigating detective questioned them. They are charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.
