LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

The Angelina County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Lufkin sex offender accused of moving without notifying authorities.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, a police officer tried to contact Michael Wayne King, 36, at a residence on Tower Lane on Nov. 25. His sister said she had not seen or spoken to him in a while and that he was no longer welcome at the house because he had stolen two of her TVs.

Police obtained a warrant for King's arrest on Dec. 12 after being unable to locate him. He was booked into the Angelina County Jail on Friday, where he is being held without bond.

King was convicted in 1994 on an indecency with a child charge. The victim was 16.
