Livingston man in stable condition following Monday wreck with 18-wheelers

CORRIGAN, TX (KTRE) -

A Livingston man is still recovering in a Tyler hospital after being involved in a wreck with two 18-wheelers Monday afternoon in Corrigan.

Corrigan Police Sgt. Chris Molandes said George Thomas, 60, is in stable condition.

Molandes was injured in the 300 block of U.S. 59 South after one 18-wheeler rear-ended another, which rear-ended Thomas' minivan.

Trucker Misael Garcia, 31, of Texas City, was cited for failure to control speed.
