Muddy situation

Road construction continues on Fuller Springs Drive in Lufkin, but Friday it turned into a really sticky situation. Some homeowners complained they couldn't even get out of their driveways to get to work today. Alexis Spears has the report at 6.

Also at 6, Donna McCollum tells you about how several service agencies are joining in one building. This should make things easier for those seeking help in one place at once.

Brad Hlozek says severe weather could start rolling in tonight and through the weekend. So check out the latest forecasts at 5, 6 and 10.

And as far as the weather is concerned, I got a call just last week from someone in California who said the KTRE Weather app is the best weather app he could find. The man has no ties to East Texas but found this app after searching for a good weather app in the app store on his smartphone. So, if a man in California says this is the best app he knows of, don't you think all of our viewers should have one? Oh, by the way, it's free. So if your power goes out this weekend and you want to know how much more severe weather you can expect, you can rely on the KTRE Weather app!
