LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Three lanes of traffic were diverted to just one on busy U.S. 59 South in Lufkin Friday morning following a wreck involving an 18-wheeler and a car.
The accident involved a four-door sedan and a log truck with an empty load, around 9:45 a.m.
Traffic was limited to one lane, near Texas Forest Service, in the northbound lane of U.S. 59.
An officer on the scene deferred comment to the Lufkin Police spokesman.
It did not appear anyone was injured in the accident.
As of about 10:15 a.m., traffic was flowing freely in all three lanes.
