Nacogdoches man killed while walking across road

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

A Nacogdoches man died Monday evening after getting hit by a vehicle while he was walking across the road on State Highway 21 East in Nacogdoches County.

Terry Burch, 34, died on the scene, about 13 miles east of Nacogdoches.

According to the DPS report, Burch was walking south across Highway 21 when he was struck in the outside westbound lane by a 2004 Chevy Silverado, driven by Octavio Hernandez, of Nashville, Tenn.

The accident happened at 6:50 p.m.
