Case continued for Lufkin doctor accused of tax fraud

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

The case of a Lufkin doctor accused of tax evasion has been continued.

The final pre-trail conference for Dr. David Anthony Mosig, 60, is scheduled for April 23 in Beamont. A jury selection and trial will be determined at that time.

Mosig is accused of claiming total incomes of $0 in 2004, 2005 and 2006 on his tax returns.

The following deadlines also apply in the case:

April 2: Any motion to suppress evidence.

April 9: Any motion for continuance.

April 16: Parties shall notify court of any plea agreement.
