Remaining suspects in meth conspiracy pleading guilty

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Three suspects are set to plead guilty for their roles in a three-year-old meth conspiracy ring, rounding out the case for federal prosecutors.

Court records show Darrell Jean Peel, 31, of Lufkin; Katherine Nugent, unknown age and residence; and Jason E. Wolf, 35, of Alto, will plead guilty to one count each.

Peel is pleading guilty to Count 8, which alleges he purchased pseudeophedrine on Nov. 19, 2009, at a CVS in Lufkin, for the purpose of having it used for meth. His hearing is set for Feb. 28 at 3:30 p.m.

Nugent is pleading guilty to Count 18, which alleges she purchased pseudeophedrine on Jan. 18, 2011, at a CVS in Lufkin, for the purpose of having it used for meth. Her hearing was set for Thursday at 3 p.m.

Wolf is pleading guilty to Count 20, which alleges he purchased pseudeophedrine on April 27, 2011, at Walmart in Lufkin, for the purpose of having it used for meth. His hearing was set for Thursday at 2:30 p.m.

Brandy Michelle Beam, 27, of Huntington, pleaded guilty to the charge on Feb. 2.
