RUSK COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

The Citizen's National Bank in Henderson was robbed Tuesday morning.

It happened around 10 at 2320 US Highway 79, on the south side of Henderson.

And, the woman who robbed the bank may have had a driver.

At 10:10, a woman walked into the Citizen's National Bank, walked up to the counter, and showed a clerk a handgun. She handed the clerk a note specifying exactly what she wanted. She put the money, the note and her gun in a black purse she carried with her.

"The lady was very specific about what denominations and what she wanted, and so the dye packs or bait money or anything was not exchanged that we're releasing, anyway," said William Brown, investigator with the Rusk County District Attorney's Office.

Investigators say the woman wore a wig and some kind of medical mask, and there were several customers in the bank. It was a very quiet robbery.

"Judging from the video, no one knew a thing until she walked out the door and the teller got the attention of the other employees," stated Brown.

Authorities believe her car was parked at the convenience store next door, and they think she had a driver who walked into that store during the robbery.

"We believe there was a second white female driving that vehicle, because the convenience store behind you back there, their security video shows a white female walk from that vehicle to the store. She didn't purchase anything, walked back out, and they leave, at I'd say an accelerated rate around the back of the store," Brown added.

The person of interest was not disguised, and authorities believe she was the younger of the two.

"We're just thankful no one was hurt. There were other customers in the bank including a small child that was standing almost beside the actual bank robber, so we're thankful nobody got hurt," Brown said.

Investigators say the car was last seen southbound on Business 79. The car is described as an older model white four door.
