Nacogdoches man gets probation in AK-47 attack

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A man associated with a gang-related beating in July pleaded guilty Friday morning.

Jerry Andrea Pruitt, 20, of Nacogdoches, accepted a four-year probation term on a charge of aggravated assault in Judge Campbell Cox's courtroom.

Pruitt was one of three men who arrived in a vehicle in July and watched Nelson Mavrrieio Rodriguez jump out and hit someone with an AK-47. Rodriguez then jumped back into the car as it drove off.
