CONROE, TX (News Release) - Consolidated Communications is reminding its customers to not respond to requests asking for personal information over the phone or through email.
The company was recently notified of individuals posing as Consolidated Communications employees calling residential and business customers and asking for personal information.
If you receive a phone call from someone saying they are with Consolidated Communications, do not provide any information. Tell the caller you know it is a scam and hang up. Report the call by visiting the Internet Crime Complaint Center Web site at www.ic3.gov.
