TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

On Monday, a jury found an East Texas man guilty of recklessly causing serious bodily injury to his own daughter.

On Tuesday, his sentenced was handed down. Porcayo was sentenced to the maximum penalty of 20 years. No fines were assessed.

After just three hours of deliberation on Monday, the jury found Saul Lino-Porcayo guilty of injury to a child with intent of serious bodily injury, for fracturing the skull of his two-month-old daughter, Kaylin.

Porcayo was indicted in March 2011, after the attack in December.

Authorities say Porcayo told them he hit Kaylin out of frustration while he was intoxicated.
