Car Accidents Sends Three to the Hospital

A two-car accident sent three Nacogdoches residents to the hospital.

According to police, 62-year-old George Carter, who was driving a jeep was coming off the ramp from the loop when he hit a van going East on Highway 21. The van then slid on the road and struck a pole.

46-year-old James Perry and 45-year-old Ann Perry, who were in the van, were taken to the hospital. Carter was also taken to the hospital. Police say they all suffered minor injuries.

Carter will be issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.
