NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office has arrested the final two suspects involved in a drive-by shooting Sunday night.
Sheriff Thomas Kerss said deputies arrested Luis Enrique Posadas, 19, and a juvenile on Wednesday.
Posadas is charged with evading arrest.
Kerss said deputies traced Posadas to the shooting after a deputy tried to stop him Sunday night when he ignored a stop sign. The deputy was not aware of the shooting and did not bother to pursue Posadas after he did not stop. A further investigation revealed the suspect vehicle was connected to the shooting and investigators were able to trace the vehicle back to Posadas.
Deputies have arrested seven people in the shooting on County Road 521.
Kerss said the seven are associated in a rival gang of the Latin Kings.
