East Texas is home to a new way to find out if a woman has breast cancer. UT Health Center now offers something called Mammatome.
It allows women to undergo a minimally invasive breast biopsy in a doctor's exam room, instead of the operating room. Doctors say it's more effective than standard treatments.
The biopsy only takes about an hour, so women can go back to their normal routine immediately afterwards.
