NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office hauled in a big bust Thursday night as part of an investigation into drug activity.

Sheriff Thomas Kerss said deputies served the warrant on Pittman Street in Nacogdoches and found a first-degree felony amount of crack cocaine, along with several ecstasy pills.

Deputies arrested Tony Wayne Hall Jr., 27, of Port Arthur, on charges of delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Kerss said Hall is a member of the Crips and Thursday's arrest was just part of a bigger effort to crack down on illegal gang activity in Nacogdoches County.
