SAN AUGUSTINE COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

The mother of a kidnapping suspect is expected to arrive at the same jail later Monday evening.

Earlier this month, Krystle Tanner, 26, was arrested on kidnapping charges, stemming from a 2004 incident in Houston, where she allegedly took the then 8-month-old child while babysitting.

Latest developments in the case have shown that Tanner's mother, Gloria Jean Walker, 50, of Manor, provided false and misleading information as well.

She's currently being held on a $250,000 bond in Travis County jail.

According to San Augustine chief deputy Gary Cunningham, Walker will be transported to the San Augustine County jail this evening. He said she will likely be interrogated.

Walker has been charged with kidnapping as well.

In 2004, the boy's biological mother, Auboni Champion-Morin, of Houston, came home and found no sign of her baby and Tanner. She called the police, but HPD closed the case in 2006.

For years, Tanner was off on the trail, allegedly hiding the boy, now 8, with different relatives. Police interrogated relatives several times, but no useful information was ever given.

In August 2011, San Augustine County Sheriff's Office and CPS were looking into allegations made that Tanner was negligent and possibly abusive to her newborn and 8-year-old child.

The 8-year-old child could not be found when CPS went to interview Tanner in San Augustine.  Investigators said Tanner and her boyfriend gave "false and misleading" information concerning the child.

Their investigation eventually led them back to Houston and the 2004 kidnapping allegations against Tanner.
