SAN AUGUSTINE, TX (KTRE) -

A San Augustine County grand jury has indicted a woman and her mother on injury to child charges, in addition to the kidnapping charge they had already received.

Krystle Tanner, 26, and Gloria Jean Walker, 50, are still in the San Augustine County Jail, where they are each being held on collective bonds of $250,000.

Chief Deputy Gary Cunningham said the grand jury determined there had been unquestionable psychological trauma to the 8-year-old boy, allowing it to indict them on injury to a child.

Authorities allege that Tanner abducted Miguel Morin in 2004 when he was 8 months old, and that Walker knew and didn't notify the authorities. Officials have previously disclosed in court that Miguel, in interviews with child welfare authorities, said his name was Jaquan and identified Tanner as his mother and Walker as his grandmother.
