EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - A thunderstorm complex rolled through Deep East Texas earlier this morning and produced some strong winds.
The Angelina County Airport, just south of Lufkin, had a measured wind gust of 45 mph as the leading edge of the line of storms moved through southern Angelina county.
We have also had reports of downed trees in Pineland, Center, and Downtown Newton so far today.
In Kirbyville, a homeowner's trampoline was toppled over as a result of the strong winds.
In addition to the strong winds, several viewers have reported, via facebook, that they have received some dime to marble size hail with the storms as well. These reports have come from residents living in San Augustine and Chireno.
