Ladies, have you ever wanted a chance to learn how to play golf, but not be taught by your husband, boyfriend, brother or some other amateur? Crown Colony country club is offering free lessons to women who are both members and non-members who want to learn the game.
"The best way to keep your relationship good on the golf course is not to try and teach one another, it is to go to the professionals and let us try and help you out," said Crown Colony director of golf Ben Burns. "You will enjoy the game a whole lot more that way."
Burns also said that this was a great way to promote a family atmosphere around the country club and introduce new players to the game he loves.
"What we are trying to get everyone to understand is that it is for the whole family, it's not just for dad anymore," said Burns. "Mom, dad, the kids, everybody, it is a great way to get out and socialize with the kids and get them away from a television."
The free clinic includes lessons on all elements of the game of golf.
