Manhunt Monday: Reward offered for AM/PM robber

Silent Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man who robbed an AM/PM store on Dec. 31 while armed with a handgun.

The suspect paced in front of the chained doors of the store at 43rd and Northern avenues. The suspect then shot through the door and kicked in the glass.

The man ran into the store, stole a gun under the cashier's counter and fled. Staff members were inside the store at the time, police said.

The suspect is described as white with a thin build, between 20 and 29 years old, 5'8" to 5'10" tall and wearing a plaid flannel jacket with black and dark gray colors, light-colored pants, white gloves, black nylon cap and a large metal crucifix around his neck.

Other wanted fugitives

Police are also looking for Salvador Mendez Cardona, wanted for auto theft and charges related to running a chop shop. He is 40 years old, 6' tall and 300 pounds. He uses several aliases and has a tattoo of two hearts on his right shoulder with the name "Marcela." 

There's also a warrant out for the arrest of 31-year-old Jason Harris, who failed to register as a sex offender. He is 5'10" tall, 235 pounds and uses the names John Harris and Joshua Tabuyka. He has tattoos on his back left arm and left hand.
