Does Zimmerman see himself as a hero?
A quote at the end of an alleged email exchange between a reporter and George Zimmerman might indicate how the man accused of shooting an unarmed teenager sees himself.
Or maybe he just likes Edmund Burke.
A reporter with the blog Loop21 says he and Zimmerman corresponded by email shortly after Zimmerman's personal website hit the internet.
Wesley Lowery said he attempted to contact Zimmerman, and received a response from him about 5:46 p.m. on Monday. Lowery asked Zimmerman to provide confirmation that he was who he said he was.
Zimmerman responded by saying a Fox News host could vouch for him.
"Certainly, You can contact Sean Hannity I spoke with him today and he confirmed my identity."
Zimmerman closed his email with a quote by the Irish author and philosopher Edmund Burke. He uses the same line at the bottom of his personal website.
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil, is that good men do nothing."
