CBS 5 wins SPJ award for 'Toxic Secrets' series

The Society of Professional Journalists has selected CBS 5's Toxic Secrets series as the Sigma Delta Chi Award winner for large-market investigative journalism.

CBS 5 Investigates' Tammy Leitner, David L. Paredes and executive producer Kathy Clark produced the series of reports on Agent Orange drums that were secretly buried three decades ago on a U.S. Army base.

CBS 5 also recently won a prestigious George Foster Peabody Award for the Toxic Secrets series.
