Convicted ETX murderer arrested for sexual assault of child

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Terry Lee Clouse, 50, of Douglass is in the Nacogdoches County Jail following his arrest on Thursday for sexual assault of a teenager. The 17 year old has a 5 month old boy.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for DNA evidence to determine if Clouse is the father. A revocation of parole warrant is pending on Clouse. He's got a prior sexual assault and murder convictions.

According to Sheriff Thomas Kerss, Clouse and the teen had an "ongoing sexual relationship" that occurred when the girl was "around 15 or 16". "We had looked into the accusation previously, but the victim denied any involvement and we didn't have enough information to press charges.
"A collaborating witness came forward and revealed information about the couple's relationship.

Clouse was arrested at his house located on FM 225 near Douglass. Arraignment is pending before Judge Leann Goerner.
