Boil Water Notice: Etoile Water Supply customers who live in Shirley Creek Estates

A boil water notice has been issued for customers of Etoile Water Supply PWS ID 1740011 who live in the Shirley Creek Estates.

The notice was issued as required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) after a break in the line was discovered Thursday.  Affected customers need to boil their water prior to consumption.

According to the notice, "To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to use. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source."

Once the water is deemed safe for consumption, affected customers will be notified by water system officials.

If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact Charlie Luse at 936-854-2215.
