Two get probation for trafficking pot through Nacogdoches Co.

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Two people accepted probation deals after pleading guilty Tuesday morning to trafficking marijuana through Nacogdoches County in separate incidents.

Maria Salinas, of Burch Tree, Mo., accepted ten years of probation and 180 days in county jail in connection to a May 2011 Nacogdoches Police traffic stop in which an officer found 42 pounds of marijuana concealed in a gas tank.

Torionto Marquis Miller, of Houston, accepted a two-year probation sentence in connection to a Oct. 2011 incident in which a Nacogdoches County trooper found four pounds of marijuana concealed in a spare tire.
