Lufkin Police arrest alleged cocaine dealer

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin Police have arrested a man accused of dealing to undercover agents on at least six occasions, dating back to last year.

Lonnie Ray Hurts, 25, is charged with six counts of delivery of a controlled substance.

According to the arrest report, an officer recognized Hurts' license plate and, knowing he had warrants for his arrest, pulled him over in the 700 block of McHale Street. The officer then placed him under arrest.

According to an arrest affidavits, Hurts sold cocaine to confidential informants all six times.
