Five Finalists Named For Lufkin City Manager - KTRE.com | Lufkin and Nacogdoches, Texas

Officials with the city of Lufkin have selected five finalists for the position of city manager.

They are:

* Kenneth Williams, who currently works as the Director of Public Works for the city of Lufkin

* David Koonce, who serves as the city of Lufkin's Director of Human Resources

* J. Lee Brittain, who works for the Greg James Auto Dealer Group in Nacogdoches

* Gary Broz, city manager in Port Lavaca

* Paul Parker, city manager in Mount Pleasant

Lufkin Mayor Louis Bronaugh says the finalists will be interviewed next week, and he hopes the city council can name the new city manager by next month. Former City Manager C.G. Maclin retired in March to pursue a career with a Dallas-based ministry.
