NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -
Nacogdoches Police Department arrested a woman after an altercation in a residential neighborhood late Wednesday night.
Tiffany Wyrick, 19, of Nacogdoches, was charged with aggravated assault, according to Sergeant Greg Sowell.
According to a police report, two women got in an altercation in the 1000 block of Orton Street. Wyrick then produced a knife and cut the other woman.
The victim is a 20-year-old female who sustained non-life threatening injuries, according to the report.
Sowell said Wyrick was also found to be in possession of marijuana.
She was charged with a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.
Wyrick attended an arraignment Thursday morning. Her bond has been set at $15,000 for the assault charge, and $1,500 for the marijuana charge.
She remains in the Nacogdoches County Jail.
