Two killed in wreck in Wood County

WOOD COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Two people were killed and two injured in a one vehicle accident in Wood County, Thursday.

Mineola Fire Department Public Information Officer Steve Finley tells us that there were four adults in the vehicle. The vehicle apparently slid sideways into Keys Creek Bridge on CR 2231 outside Mineola. A medical helicopter transported one from the scene.

Fannie Corder Crowell of Alba died at the scene of the crash and Monica Marie Hayes of Mineola died at ETMC Quitman.

The driver of the vehicle, Donald Ray Houck of Mineola was transported to ETMC Tyler with a collapsed lung. Cecil Corder Cantrell from Yantis is in serious condition at Trinity Mother Frances with head and leg injuries.
