TYLER, TX (KLTV) -
First up this week, Dairy queen off of Highway 64 East in Tyler. Inspectors found problems with the hand wash facilities a lack of towels and soap. The also had problems with food temperatures, keeping things to warm or too cold. Total demerits: 16
Next up, China Start Express and Grill off of the South Southwest Loop 323 in Tyler. Employees were found eating and drinking near the food preparation area, marking them up for not practicing good hygienic practices. They also had cross-contamination between raw and cooked foods. And there was no certified food manager on site. Total demerits: 33
