100 years old and still volunteering

Living to be 100 is a tremendous feat in itself. Tonight, you'll meet Granny Turner, who just hit the century mark today and is still volunteering as a foster grandmother at an East Texas school. Francesca Washington has this story at 10.

We kick off the primary portion of our Your Voice, Your Vote series tonight, with profiles of the two men running for Nacogdoches County Sheriff. At 10, Donna McCollum introduces you to the incumbent sheriff and the man looking to unseat him in a race which will decide who will wear the badge in 2013.

Fifteen years after a group of minorities got together to take on the huge Lufkin Industries company, they are now receiving their paychecks totaling $5.5 million. At 6, Alexis Spears explains how this order brings closure to a long battle.

At 6, we'll tell you why the Nacogdoches chapter of AARP has disbanded.
