Police: Lufkin man arrested for coke in car, drawers

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin Police arrested a man Wednesday afternoon after reporting to find cocaine in his car and his underwear.

Police conducted a traffic stop with Christopher D. Dove, 28, of Lufkin, who was in a Lincoln Towncar, on the 600 block of Ellis Avenue at 12:32 p.m.

According to the report, officers found a pill bottle stuffed between the driver's seat and passenger's seat. The bottle had a small piece of crack cocaine, according to the report.

Dove also had 2.5 grams of cocaine in his underwear, according to the report.

He is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. One is a state-jail felony and the other is a third-degree felony.
