KILGORE, TX (KLTV) -
Police are on the scene of a fatal accident at a lumber company.
Kilgore Police spokesperson Roman Roberson says a customer inside of East Texas Lumber in Kilgore has died as a result of falling "material."
Kilgore Police confirm the deceased as Joseph Barber, 56, of New London.
Authorities say Barber and several employees were moving building materials when somehow they fell, pinning Barber underneath.
EMS workers are removing the man's body from underneath the pile of fallen material.
J.P. Talyna Carlson pronounced Barber on the scene.
Kilgore Police and Fire responded to the scene after the call came in at 3:40 Thursday afternoon.
