LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin Police arrested a Diboll man after determining he was driving drunk with two children in the vehicle when he wrecked Sunday morning.
According to the report, officers responded to the 4600 block of South Medford Drive at 7:40 a.m. after learning of a vehicle striking a concrete roadway divider or curb and having blown out a tire.
Police determined Angel Diosdado, 48, was driving intoxicated. He had two children, aged two and three, in the vehicle, and was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a child passenger.
A family member arrived on the scene and took custody of the children.
As of 10:30 a.m. Monday, bond had not yet been set for Diosdado's release.
